• Roses are very water wise once established if on the correct rootstock (fortuniana) for Perth as it is suited to our dry hot sandy WA environment!
• Salvia is also very drought tolerant once established, many native to Mediterranean climates thriving in Perth. Compatible plants as they flourish together under the same conditions i.e., same water needs, fertiliser, sun etc making life easy for the gardener with huge returns.
• Roses are known as the flower of love and romance stemming back 35 million years throughout eastern and western cultures.
• Both species have Medicinal, Physical, and mental health benefit’s antibiotic, vitamin rich, cognitive, anxiety, anti-inflammatory etc.
• Roses are a central ingredient in skin care and perfume industry.
